1) Partaking of the sacrament is observing the remembrance of Christ and a remembrance of our call to tell others of Christ’s message.
2) Jesus knew at the time of the Passover communion that there was one among them that would betray him.
3) We must be careful in our own lives not to betray Jesus for the scriptures say, “but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It had been good for that man if he had not been born”. (Matthew 26:20)
4) Those who serve communion should not do it for self-gratification, but for the love of Jesus.
5) We are told, that which we ask in Jesus name we shall receive, if we keep his commandments.
