1) God’s promise of salvation was only given to the House of Israel.
2) Celestial glory will be free of deception, with everlasting light coming from God.
3) We must hold those who claim to be prophets to the standard found in the truth of the gospel.
4) We must not allow anything outside of the gospel to be a part of our worship or a part of our lives.
5) When a man chooses to change the gospel to fit his desires, God will withhold the true gospel from that man.
6) When man allows evil things into his life, he is allowing Satan to take a hold in his life, loosing the ability to recognize evil things and keep evil things out of his life.

9) We must follow the truth, staying strong in the faith. God does not like those who are lukewarm in the faith.
10) We must study the patterns of the past to understand how the people where deceived and learn from their mistakes.
