1) Many of God’s ways are available for us to understand and we should seek these things. But some of God’s ways will only be understood after we return to our maker.
2) If we don’t study the truth found in the gospel, our minds can conjure up all sorts of ideas that don’t fit within the pattern found in the gospel.
3) To teach a false gospel is bad for the salvation for both the student and the teacher.
4) Jesus was aware that his time on earth was coming to an end. Jesus confirmed that he has glorified God with his gospel, and finished the work God has sent him to do.
5) We should always strive to finish our work that God wants us to do, being grateful for each new day and the opportunity to continue in our work.
6) Jesus taught the gospel to men who god had given him, the disciples. Disciples are to carry on the work of spreading the true gospel.
7) We must put our trust in the word of God to overcome those times when our faith might be weak.
8) Gaining knowledge, through the study of the gospel, will increase our trust in the word of God.
9) We can have joy when we accept the gospel and live within the promises of God.
10) Jesus prayed that those who follow the true gospel would be kept from evil, being sanctified by the truth.
11) We should strive to not be of the world, but live within the truth of the gospel. We can do this by putting on the armor of God, putting aside the things of this world.
