1) One principle of the gospel of Jesus Christ is repentance.
2) Repentance allows us to ask forgiveness for those things that we have fallen short in.
3) We must recognize and acknowledge our sins by asking for repentance.
4) We must live no more within the natural man.
5) When we are baptized, we are given the opportunity to become a new person because our sins of old are washed away.
6) For those that follow the gospel, the sacrifice that Jesus made reconciles us back to God.
7) We have also received the ministry of reconciliation, giving us the choice to become closer to others and God.
8) When you repent of your sins, God no longer remembers those sins.
9) We are called to be ambassadors for God.
10) We must study to understand the basis of what we believe.
11) Partaking of the sacrament should not be taken as a light thing.
12) The sacrament should help us to remember our commitment in baptism to living within the gospel.
