Are you attending a Restoration Branch that utilizes the priesthood offices of “High Priest”, “Seventy” or “First Presidency”? If so, have you considered that these priesthood offices are not a part of the church that Jesus Christ set up and not a part of the church that Joseph Smith, Jr. restored in 1830?
Sadly, shortly after the founding of the restored church, men began to add priesthood offices to serve their own desires. These additions are inconsistent with the pattern that was already given within the Bible and the Book of Mormon and, consequently, the will of God.
It is important to remember that if a “revelation” or “conference action” advocates changes that are inconsistent with the will of God, those changes must be rejected.
